  12. a couple of 64 mags, this is not a
  13.  
  14. game for gamers.  You won't find the
  15.  
  16. fast action, realistic graphics, or
  17.  
  18. deadly aliens of other games here.
  19.  
  20. What you will find is a piece of
  21.  
  22. software that allows the true
  23.  
  24. fighter pilot to "zoom and boom" with
  25.  
  26. the best of them.  The graphics are
  27.  
  28. poor (as compared to, say, "SKYFOX"),
  29.  
  30. the sound is lacking (compared to
  31.  
  32. BEACH-HEAD II or GHOSTBUSTERS), but
  33.  
  34. for a realistic feel of a fighter it
  35.  
  36. can't be beat!!
  37.  
  38.    Everything about STRIKE-EAGLE is
  39.  
  40. exactly like it is in real life,
  41.  
  42. right down to the lessons on flight
  43.  
  44. maneuvers in the manual.  And yes, it
  45.  
  46. is a flight manual.  The lessons on
  47.  
  48. aerobatics equal the ones I was
  49.  
  50. taught in basic flight training.
  51.  
  52.    And, unlike FS I or II, if you hit
  53.  
  54. the ground in this one, you will
  55.  
  56. crash---yep, you die!!  The flares,
  57.  
  58. chaff and jamming, and evasive
  59.  
  60. maneuvers work to defeat IR and radar
  61.  
  62. guided missiles.  The bomb-dropping
  63.  
  64. "pipper" must be on target to score a
  65.  
  66. hit.  One "golden BB" will not kill
  67.  
  68. an enemy fighter--and the sound of
  69.  
  70. his death is indeed rewarding!
  71.  
  72.    This is a game not for everyone.

  74. Only the true fighter-pilot at heart
